La parola mais in italiano ha la stessa pronuncia della parola mice (topi) in inglese. Cosi sbagliando potresti distruggere la buona reputazione della cucina italiana nel mondo.
The word mais in Italian has the same pronunciation as the word mice in English. If you make this mistake you could destroy the international reputation of Italian cooking.
MOTIVO PER LO SBAGLIO:
Alcune parole sembrano parole inglesi, o addirutura internazionali, perché hanno una ortografia che non è tipico dell'italiano. Altre parole tipiche in questo senso sono: ananas (pineapple), bancomat (cash card) e colf (homehelp).
